Ottawa Wedding Videographer

Cinematic, documentary-style wedding films for couples getting married in Ottawa and across the Valley.

I'm Jack Albert, a wedding videographer based in the Ottawa Valley, and I love filming in Ottawa. Whether your wedding is downtown or at an estate just outside the city, I'll travel to you. My films are cinematic and documentary in feel, warm, natural, and built around how your day actually felt, not staged or generic.

Films that capture the feeling, not just the footage

I've been telling stories on film since I was eighteen, and I bring that to every wedding. I have a strong eye for light and how to shape it, and I'm close to obsessive about clean audio, because your vows and speeches deserve to sound as good as they look. On the day I stay professional and mostly invisible, quietly catching real moments as they happen, with only light direction when it helps.

From downtown Ottawa to a country estate

Ottawa weddings come in every style. Whether you're marrying at a venue downtown, a garden estate just outside the city, or a barn out in the Valley, I shoot it the same way: led by light, obsessed with sound, and quietly in the background so the day stays yours. I'll happily travel into Ottawa and out to venues across the region.

Ottawa & area venues

A few of the venues couples get married at around Ottawa and the Valley include the Fairmont Château Laurier, Fairmont Le Château Montebello, Le Belvédère, Stonefields Estate, Strathmere, 50 Sussex, the National Arts Centre, the Canadian Museum of History, Bleeks & Bergamot, Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farm, Evermore, Temple's Sugar Bush, Saunders Farm, Orchard View and Thee Farm. See my guide to the best wedding venues in Ottawa and the Valley for what makes each one special. Getting married somewhere not on this list? That's most of my weddings, tell me where and I'll be there.

The work speaks louder than I can. Watch recent wedding films and get a feel for the look, the pacing, and the way real moments carry a story.

Why couples choose me

You get one filmmaker who cares about your story, not a rotating crew. A storyteller's eye, careful light, clean sound, and a calm presence on the day. My couples rate me 5.0 on Google, and I'd love to earn that from you too.
